Hanne Warming – Project Manager

Hanne is a professor in Social Science with special focus on ‘children’s lives, participation and citizenship in a globalised society’ at the Department of Society and Globalisation at Roskilde University.

Hanne has conducted research in the area of childhood for several years, including children’s everyday lives as well as the social and pedagogic work with children and young people. The main focus has been on the children and young people’s own experiences, attitudes and opinions/perspective and has often been conducted in collaboration with practicians, organisations and administrative units within this field.

As project manager, Hanne is responsible for the overall project coordination. Moreover, she is responsible for the practical completion of sub-project C: Learning to manage life – lived citizenship of children and young people with a psy-diagnosis.

Kristian Fahnøe

Kristian is Lecturer at Department of Social Work at Metropolitan University College. Kristian teaches at the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Social Work. He holds a PhD in Social Science from the Department of Society and Globalisation at Roskilde University. His PhD thesis Tørstige sjæle [Thirsty Souls] is an ethnography of how knowledge, power and resistance shape social work practice at an in-patient facility for alcohol abusers.

Kristian’s research focus on how social work practice serves as a way to governing individuals and on related dilemmas for the social workers and clients. Within the focus Kristian’s interests include the micro sociology of encounters between social workers and clients, social exclusion and identity as well as power/knowledge in social work with drug and alcohol abusers and homeless people.
